RADISSON SAS CARLTON HOTEL
Located opposite the national Opera and Philharmony, the Radisson SAS Carlton Hotel is located in one of the Slovak capital's most prestigious buildings, with its grand neo-classical fa¦ade and colonnade. All 168 guestrooms are designed in either contemporary or traditional style with rich d+cor and warm colors. All have cable television, modem Internet connections and heated floors in the bathrooms.
The hotel complex offers round the clock room service, a spa, shopping arcade with hairdresser, and newsstand. Guests can also make use of a limo or town car service, babysitting services and laundry facilities. In the onsite Opera Brasserie overlooking the National Opera, diners can choose from a range of French-inspired dishes; the menu changes monthly. The historic Mirror Hall Bar, with its dramatic red d+cor n=and chandeliers, is a popular meeting place where guests can enjoy cocktails, snacks and live entertainment. Bratislava Castle and the Danube River are both about two kilometres away. Bratislava International Airport is a 15 minute taxi ride away. Bus and tram services cover most of the city. Trams are faster during the day, since buses are often stuck in traffic. Trolleybuses service some parts of the city. Night lines cover all parts of the city, however they run only three times per night. Tickets are available in the ticket machines at the stops and at some newspaper stands.
